I can't believe Christmas is just a week away! I have been busy with my class this session, which has been wonderful so far. It is always so exciting to see the students connect with each other and really become a classroom family. It makes my job so much easier! Since this is Christmas season I am taking full advantage of it with my class. We have already decorated our classroom by making pictures, snowflakes, and ornaments for a tree in our classroom that I drew. While we were decorating in class one day I found myself having to step back to thank God for bringing me here and for always being with me. This was definitely a redeeming moment as it is so cool being able to celebrate Christmas with my students, most on whom are celebrating it for the first time, and to have this awesome opportunity to share Gods love with them. Don't get me wrong...it is hard to be away from my family right now, but God is faithful all the time!!!!
